the Dulles Greenway’s new payment platform.
PayNearMe is a modern payment platform now available on the Dulles Greenway. It gives you more ways to pay your tolls, online, by phone, by digital wallet, or in cash at thousands of retail locations, quickly and securely.
The biggest new feature is the ability to proactively search and pay missed tolls online before you ever receive a violation notice. You can look up outstanding balances by license plate and violation date to pay instantly at PayNearMe.com/dullesgreenway. You also now have access to digital wallet payments and cash payments at retail stores. We will no longer accept checks as a method of payment for violations.
You can now pay using any of the following:
- Credit and debit cards
- Apple Pay
- Google Pay
- PayPal
- Venmo
- Cash App Pay
- ACH bank transfer
- Pay over the phone via Interactive Voice Response (IVR)
- Cash at 62,000+ retail locations nationwide

Yes. PayNearMe uses bank-level encryption and security standards to protect your payment information. Your card and account details are never stored on Dulles Greenway systems.
If you pay before a notice is generated, you will not receive a violation notice for that toll. Payments are posted in real time, so paying promptly ensures your account is up to date.
No. You can pay as a guest by entering your license plate number. Creating an account is optional but allows you to view payment history and manage your tolls more easily.
If you use E-ZPass and your transponder is working correctly, your tolls are automatically charged to your E-ZPass account and nothing changes. Up-to-date vehicle information on your E-ZPass account can help you avoid toll violation notices. PayNearMe is designed for situations where a toll was missed or a customer does not have E-ZPass.
