01/25/18

On or about the night of Friday, Jan. 26, 10 p.m. to Saturday, Jan. 27 at 6 a.m., the westbound Dulles Greenway, between the Main Toll Plaza and Ashburn Village Boulevard overpass will be closed and traffic detoured to allow Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project crews to install a pedestrian bridge for the Ashburn Metrorail Station over the westbound lanes.

Friday, Jan. 26, 8 p.m. to Saturday, Jan. 27, 6 a.m.:

  • Approximately ½ mile west of the Greenway's Main Toll Plaza traffic will begin to merge into the right hand lane.
  • Traffic will take Exit 7 and turn right onto the Loudoun County Parkway.
  • In approximately 2/10 mile detour signs will direct drivers to turn left onto Shellhorn Road, then left onto Ashburn Village Boulevard.
  • From Ashburn Village Boulevard, signs will direct traffic to move into the right hand lane and re-enter the westbound Dulles Greenway.

The Police will be present for safety.  Drivers should exercise caution, pay attention to barrier and signage, and obey all police and flagger instructions.  All work is weather dependent and subject to change.
